Yes, it’s Christian yet the truths and the analogy are universal in principle and truths.  I am defenseless and I strive to Just Be.

Week 22a AWED: I’m Still Dreaming

Noticing God in others, seeing gratitude in unexpected places and people. I am thankful, humbled, and overwhelmed with grateful joy and love as I see the outward evidence of change within manifest around me and in others.   To live an inspired life takes gratitude, appreciation, love and persistence.

It is funny that I am surprised when I see such strong change within me because I have seen it before.  I wrote about another time in my life when I struggled and approached a crossroad and was AWED.   I was younger.  It was different circumstance and yet it was about change, faith, and persistence, acknowledging, appreciation and hope.

A Conversation With God was written around October 2003 after I had gastric bypass surgery, posted on MY Space when that was the “in” social medium and blogging platform on the net.   A time of change for me .

It was re-posted September 25, 2013, on Writer’s Gambit while I was working through what I wanted to blog about, my writing platform and I had just lost my job, so once again I face the challenges of change.  Today is March 11, 2017, and I link back to the post of 2013 on the road of challenge, growth, grace and abundance.

The funny thing is this post in its contents and essence is timeless for me.  It is a reflection of the human condition and the hero’s journey and its many faces for one individual.  When I read my own words I still connect and I am taken to that place of Grace I sought in the prayer and feel the joyful gratitude and awe I felt the first time I wrote it.  This year makes that post almost 19 years old.

God is still with me and within me.  The thing that has changed is I have learned new habits that with persistence lead me and still lead me to the life I was meant to live.  Humble.  Grateful.  Overwhelming AWE.  Riches flow to me in every realm of my life and manifest in this physical world so I might experience joy, happiness, harmony in a balanced life.

I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious, and happy.

Hannel 19:1-2

1. The search for truth is no longer a haphazard adventure, but it is a systematic process, and is logical in its operation. Every kind of experience is given a voice in shaping its decision.
2. In seeking the truth we are seeking ultimate cause; we know that every human experience is an effect; then if we may ascertain the cause, and if we shall find that this cause is one which we can consciously control, the effect or the experience will be within our control also.

I hold a lot of resistance within. It’s like a tight weave that has to be unraveled one strand at a time, inch by inch. I took the fear that I can’t really change this week and used it do small kindnesses and use mindfulness to achieve small actions, which brought results to my outer world. Humbled, Grateful with Joy & Love in wonderous awe of the spirit within and the spirit without, God in me and God surround me through universal mind.

  1. Knowledge is of priceless value because by applying the knowledge we can make our future what we wish it to be. When we realize that our present character, our present environment, our present ability, our present physical condition are all the result of past methods of thinking, we shall begin to have some conception of the value of knowledge.

I loved this book.  It helps with understanding how habits work, how they emerge, the neurology of habit, and looks at research studies examples and habits of societies.  The theme circles around and show that–Habits Can Be Changed.  Habits actually change the brain.  Habits are the “rote” allowing the brain not to think–power down–meaning you do them unaware you do them, and in not recognizing or understanding why you do them no conscious thought-out decision or intention is made.  You’re on autopilot.

This book is a very enjoyable read, not monotonous at all or overly technical.  The end of Chapter 1 had me crying, lol.  A self-help book actually affected my emotions like a fictional story might.  WOW..

Week 22 Magician King

 

I’d like to be flowery, elegant, wise, insightful and more educational as I post my reflections like I see on so many other blogs but when it’s personal to me, as in I’m going through it now,  it just flows in a straight up a simple manner.  When its close to me I don’t have the detachment of my natural philosophying thought process because it’s like my vision is limited until hindsight or much distance is established.

Our focus in these last week around turning negative emotion such as fear, anger, unworthiness, guilt, hurt feelings, and any other into tools we can use to achieve our dreams has been interesting.

It’s amazing to me in trying how this makes me stop just a second in the middle of ongoing chaos to catalog and helps me keep my mouth shut when speaking would only expedite and up the anty.

I’ve been dealing with feelings of helplessness, feeling trapped and stuck, due to loss of choice and means and others judgments on a personal level generating feelings of anger, hurt feelings, and fear which load the feeling of unworthiness.   I tend to turn negative emotion inward and to self-sabotage.

Funny how this stuff layers, but when you dig underneath the immediate emotions-reactions you uncover and identify the basic more specific feelings because they are all interrelated.

When someone accuses or criticizes you harshly or in anger the immediate and natural reaction is defense and respond back in like manner.  It becomes a blame game, word twist and can get mean depending on the situation and people involved.  Huge hurts can result including demoralization and unworthiness.

Those kinds of emotions can paralyze and affect your confidence, moral and perspective on life in general sometimes even your ability to function in daily life.

As we all know WORDS are power=energy they shape the world around us but more important they shape YOUR world.   They shape your essence because they can affect the way you think about yourself unless you understand it is your inner by play that damages YOU the worst, not the words spoke to you, although they matter and do affect the world just as yours do, but not as much as your own do your personal world.

You are the Magician King-Queen in your own world.

It was when I stopped trying to assign blame and waiting for someone else to change or behave better and I changed “my reaction from within” using the tools given us by MKE  that things actually improved because I affect other people too.  I matter!!   I have power!!!  I effect change on MY World always!  I am magic.  My power is as vast and great as I can imagine and all that I see I can affect.

Changing the way I thought, my reactions, gave me more consistency breaking away from the emotional yo-yo ride that was defeating me and destroying me while it held me hostage and imprisoned within my own world.

Changing helped me apply logic and reason shutting down, or at least controlling, the emotional reaction so I could see the real truth and apply solid reason and fairness with love to my decisions and MY actions.

Thought sets in motion actions which generate energy in turn affecting the world around you as you focus in a diligent and aware manner.   This is you/me taking responsibility for our own reactions and emotions no matter the situation, the instigation or source of chaos.

You don’t even realize in the moment that you are playing the blame game inside your head when hurt and anger dominate your thoughts unless you learn to focus and see the evidence of selective and aware thought put in motion by your reactions/actions.  It boggles the mind to realize how unaware even the most enlightened can be in their own world for lack of understanding on how awareness and power work.

TOOLS:

STOP!    HOLD THAT THOUGHT AND THOSE WORDS AND ACTIONS.  WAIT! IMAGINE YOU ARE FROZEN FOR A SPLIT SECOND IN TIME.  AWARENESS: LISTEN TO WHAT IS BEING SAID, WATCH BODY LANGUAGE AND BE AWARE OF YOUR OWN, & EXAMINE YOUR WORLD FROM WITHIN.

When CHAOS erupts in the world around me.

Inside my head as I face off with anger, accusation, and blame.

It’s a litany:   I love you, I love you, I love, I forgive you, I forgive you, I forgive you, thank you, thank you, thank you, I forgive me, I forgive me, I forgive me, I love me, I love me, I love me, thank you, thank you, thank you!!! (yes say it in threes)

Thanks to my beautiful and brilliant friend Ellen Miller for introducing me to this idea.  

It is a process of awareness taking inner action that sets energy in motion transmuting the world around me and transforms me.

The words triggered a calming effect halting the auto-reactions of emotional rubbage that normally pours forth escalating the situation and causing residual damage.

Magic, Change, Miracles

The miracle.  Life is more harmonious on a daily ongoing basis of late.  I find my peace faster.  I stopped dwelling, forgetting about it almost as soon as it is over, no matter what it is.   This is still an ongoing learning experience, so I struggle more often than I don’t, but the magic is it is becoming less and less.

I seek to create my harmony and bliss within.  I find I laugh more. I did not realize how long it had been since I laugh with genuine merriment until I did.    I had robbed myself of laughter.   I didn’t realize I was doing it until I took responsibility for my own emotions and thoughts.

Yes, it is a miracle.    I live more in the light and less and less in that dark place of pain, loss and without laughter.  This is the beginning of my journey but the future looks miraculous, full of weath in every area of life.

I am grateful and thankful for my life.  I am blessed.  I am magic.

Week 21 The 5 Second Rule

ADDED FEB 25TH, 2017 SAT TO POST

Yesterday I learned about the 5 Second Rule.  I was asked about a blog post about it, but I did not Know enough to really formula a firm perception of the technique.

I practiced it yesterday.  Mel Robbins says that THE counting backward process interrupts the sub process and hesitation factor that ALL humans do immediately with any thought and pushes thought to the frontal cortex where you take action.

According to Robbin’s, The key is interrupting the old to replace with a new response-immediate action without hesitation–GERONIMO.   I will keep practicing this really easy and simple techique and let you know what I notice in the future.

I found when I immediately counted backward 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 in the second I would have hesitated, that inserting backward count,  I would then follow through with the action of standing up.  I was already on my feet so I just did it.  I was already moving to Do It Now.

If it happens enough I can see how the auto response will reprogram to become Do It Now.  Such a simple, small technique to have such an immediate impact and with less thought and effort.

I just rewatched the TEDtalk.  The 5 Second Rule is about taking any action that will marry the idea you have with action so you will continue to act on it instead of dismissing it or never getting back to it.  It makes sense.  This jewel comes at the end of the talk.

WEEK 20 Shadow Me

~Charles Hannel: Lesson 20: 9-11

9. But perception will come only in the Silence; this seems to be the condition required for all great purposes. You are a visualizing entity. Imagination is your workshop. It is here that your ideal is to be visualized. 

10.  As a perfect understanding of the nature of this power is a primary condition for its manifestation, visualize the entire method over and over again, so that you may use it whenever occasion requires. The infinity of wisdom is to follow the method whereby we may have the inspiration of the omnipotent Universal Mind on demand at any time.

11. We can fail to recognize this world within, and so exclude it from our
consciousness, but it will still be the basic fact of all existence;  and when we learn to recognize it, not only in ourselves but in all persons, events, things and
circumstances we shall have found the “Kingdom of heaven” which we are told  is “within” us.

 

This week I have had trouble concentrating and staying focus as I work on transmuting fear, anger, sadness, guilt e.g. emotion into a tool I can use.  Trouble focusing on anything really.   I have had trouble going to sleep and staying asleep.  And when I do sleep I have restless, shadowy or spooky dreams or sleep only one or two hours and then I’m up.  I recognize this is my “subby” communicating with me or avoiding it.  I cannot decide.

I have also felt sluggish and at times not well.  I have decided to put more concentration into my Sit or maybe Sits.  Something is going on, on the inside, and I need to take the plunge into the depth of “psyche” and find the bliss of wholeness, harmony, and power.

 

SHADOW ME

THE DANCE OF AWARENESS

Hidden Shadow.

On the edges of mind’s eye,

Rolling rhythm, oceans lullaby.

Shadow sleeps.

Dancing sunshine, filtered light,

Innocence’s impatient growth,

Shadow wakes.

Nature’s sings, Oh joy, I play,

Climbing, swinging, exploring, jumping, searching…

Shadow peaks.

Building sandcastle’s at sea, where is peace?

Rolling waves, crashing, soul’s symphony.

Shadow retreats.

Stone falls, waters still.

Nagging, knowing, yet unaware, night descends.

Beneath the starry dome, smiling moon,

Shadow blocked.

Blind to chaos’ insidious advance.

In dying embers light,

Shadow knows.

Mind-maze floods, the Coyote stalks,

Dark deluge, tricksters spawns.

Shadow lost.

Hands over ears, unseen monsters roar,

In the cacophony of noise.

Shadow whispers,

From far away, “It’s all up to you.”

Strength flees, one last push,

Shadow silenced.

Reaching, overwhelmed, fire fades.

Flint strikes, before it drops,

Shadow leaps.

Hope’s spark ignites,

Reborn Spirit’s thread.

Shadow stitches.

Reflection mimics, Light deflects,

Reunited, healing synchronicity.

Shadow flows.

Aware…Demons banish.

Laws of the Universe

The Law of Divine Oneness – everything is connected to everything else. What we think, say, do and believe will have a corresponding effect on others and the universe around us.

 

 

Law of Vibration – Everything in the Universe moves, vibrates and travels in circular patterns, the same principles of vibration in the physical world apply to our thoughts, feelings, desires and wills in the Etheric world. Each sound, thing, and even thought has its own vibrational frequency, unique unto itself.

 

 

Law of Action – Must be employed in order for us to manifest things on earth. We must engage in actions that supports our thoughts dreams, emotions and words

 

 

Law of Correspondence – This Universal Law states that the principles or laws of physics that explain the physical world energy, Light, vibration, and motion have their corresponding principles in the etheric or universe “As above, so below”

 

 

Law of Cause and Effect – Nothing happens by chance or outside the Universal Laws.. Every Action(including thought) has a reaction or consequence “We reap what we sow”

 

 

Law of Compensation– The Universal Law is the Law of Cause and effect applied to blessings and abundance that are provided for us. The visible effects of our deeds are given to us in gifts, money, inheritances, friendships and blessings.

 

 

Law of Attraction – Demonstrates how we create the things, events and people that come into our lives Our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions produce energies which, in turn attract like energies. Negative energies attract negative energies and positive energies attract positive energies.

 

 

The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy – All persons have within them the power to change the conditions of their lives. Higher vibrations consume and transform lower ones; thus, each of us can change the energies in our lives by understanding the Universal Laws and applying the principles in such a way as to effect change

 

 

Law of Relativity – Each person will receive as series of problems (Tests of Initiation/Lessons) for the purpose of strengthening the light within each of these tests/lessons to be a challenge and remain connected to our hearts when proceeding to solve the problems. This law also teaches us to compare our problems to others problem into its proper perspective. No matter how bad we perceive our situation to be, There is always someone who is in a worse position. Its all relative.

 

 

Law of Polarity – Everything is on a continuum and has and opposite. We can suppress and transform undesirable thoughts by concentrating on the opposite pole. It is the law of mental vibrations.

 

 

Law of Rhythm – Everything vibrates and moves to certain rhythms. These rhythms establish seasons, cycles, stages of development, and patterns. Each cycle reflects the regularity of God’s Universe. Masters know how to rise above negative parts of a cycle by never getting to excited or allowing negative things to penetrate their consciousness.

 

 

Law of Gender – The law of gender manifests in all things as masculine and feminine. It is this law that governs what we know as creation. The law of gender manifests in the animal kingdom as sex. This law decrees everything in nature is both male and female. Both are required for life to exist.
