Week 24 & 23 Defenselessness

We have found that thought is the creative activity behind every constructive enterprise. We can, therefore, give nothing of more practical value than our thought.

Creative thought requires attention, and the power of attention is, as we have found, the weapon of the Superman. Attention develops concentration, and concentration develops Spiritual Power, and Spiritual Power is the mightiest force in existence.

WEEK 20 Shadow Me

~Charles Hannel: Lesson 20: 9-11

9. But perception will come only in the Silence; this seems to be the condition required for all great purposes. You are a visualizing entity. Imagination is your workshop. It is here that your ideal is to be visualized.

10.  As a perfect understanding of the nature of this power is a primary condition for its manifestation, visualize the entire method over and over again, so that you may use it whenever occasion requires. The infinity of wisdom is to follow the method whereby we may have the inspiration of the omnipotent Universal Mind on demand at any time.

11. We can fail to recognize this world within, and so exclude it from our
consciousness, but it will still be the basic fact of all existence;  and when we learn to recognize it, not only in ourselves but in all persons, events, things and
circumstances we shall have found the “Kingdom of heaven” which we are told  is “within” us.

This week I have had trouble concentrating and staying focus as I work on transmuting fear, anger, sadness, guilt e.g. emotion into a tool I can use.  Trouble focusing on anything really.   I have had trouble going to sleep and staying asleep.  And when I do sleep I have restless, shadowy or spooky dreams or sleep only one or two hours and then I’m up.  I recognize this is my “subby” communicating with me or avoiding it.  I cannot decide.

I have also felt sluggish and at times not well.  I have decided to put more concentration into my Sit or maybe Sits.  Something is going on, on the inside, and I need to take the plunge into the depth of “psyche” and find the bliss of wholeness, harmony, and power.

SHADOW ME

THE DANCE OF AWARENESS

Hidden Shadow.

On the edges of mind’s eye,

Rolling rhythm, oceans lullaby.

Shadow sleeps.

Dancing sunshine, filtered light,

Innocence’s impatient growth,

Shadow wakes.

Nature’s sings, Oh joy, I play,

Climbing, swinging, exploring, jumping, searching…

Shadow peaks.

Building sandcastle’s at sea, where is peace?

Rolling waves, crashing, soul’s symphony.

Shadow retreats.

Stone falls, waters still.

Nagging, knowing, yet unaware, night descends.

Beneath the starry dome, smiling moon,

Shadow blocked.

Blind to chaos’ insidious advance.

In dying embers light,

Shadow knows.

Mind-maze floods, the Coyote stalks,

Dark deluge, tricksters spawns.

Shadow lost.

Hands over ears, unseen monsters roar,

In the cacophony of noise.

Shadow whispers,

From far away, “It’s all up to you.”

Strength flees, one last push,

Shadow silenced.

Reaching, overwhelmed, fire fades.

Flint strikes, before it drops,

Shadow leaps.

Hope’s spark ignites,

Reborn Spirit’s thread.

Shadow stitches.

Reflection mimics, Light deflects,

Reunited, healing synchronicity.

Shadow flows.

Aware…Demons banish.

The laughter, the joy, the dance.

My friend, my truth, JUST BE,

Shadow Me.

How To Lead an Intentional Life: Creator of The Bullet Journal:

BULLET JOURNALING

Productive Tool The Bullet Journal

I love journals, but not all are useful.  I use them for a time and then forget about them.  They don’t suit my daily routines in the long-term.  I love the bullet journal concept because I tailor around my daily, weekly, monthly even yearly needs using it for many things e.g. project planning or creating a collection of words or inventorying my Star Wars collection, making lists, scheduling my day.

Since any journal works, I can go back and use those old discarded journals now that I understand how it works.   That saved me some money because I have several discarded journals.  The Bullet Journal is a system for allowing you to be productive in work or organizing your thoughts and life.  I tend to make my journal an all-inclusive, instead of a single journal for each need.

Productive Tool The Bullet JournalNOTE: You can use any kind of journal even a spiral notebook for a bullet journal.  I use a 9×12 spiral sketch pad for mine.  I get mine from Amazon.

I have a small ruler and protractor for creating.  I use color pens, pencils, and sometimes pre-made stencils to trace.

I use my bullet journal for everything.  Planning, Scheduling, Brain Storming, Mind Mapping, Doodling, Notes, Lists, Calendars or writing flash fiction or whatever else I think of doing.

I don’t do the monthly calendar but I do make a weekly one and use a per day page calendar for my day planning and scheduling.  The space within the monthly calendar creates limits, plus, creating a monthly layout takes more time.   The bullet journal gives me a more creative way to break down my plans and schedules, encourages deep thought in the process without having to worry about space in a little square. I bought a pre-made Weekly/Monthly planner created by Blue Sky for basic calendar use in a 5×7 handy size for quick referral.
